Why does it seem so much easier to approach someone or ask someone out for fun/sex than for a date with a motive of establishing a relationship?
It doesn't matter what situations you are in, whether it's Fridae or Grindr or Facebook, saunas or even friend of a friend that you're interested in, it's always easy to get straight to the point if you just wanna have fun. You just say "I wanna hug you." or "Come over for fun?" or simply "Top or bottom?"
But if you really like that person, you tend to hesitate a bit, and beat around the bush discussing gym routines, travel plans, employment status, out status etc etc... the list goes on.... but never the direct expression of interest.
Why is it so hard (for me) to just say, "Hey, we've met before and I like you. I'm single, and I know you are available too. I would love to go out on a date with you ... to get to know you better."
How many of you really do go straight to the point?

Uncle Grindr
So I was having this friendly chat with this chiku / anak ikan on grindr, and I decided to do some background check. Who better to ask than Tricia ... the popular one! I was right: that chiku has contact Tricia before and had even met up once. Apparently, the chiku's photo on grindr was not a recent one, and he has since become fat. While it is understandable that we normally try to put up our best photos, I don't get it why deceive others by putting photos of yourself which is way outdated and totally unlike your present self.
Anyway, I try not to let it bother me too much since it was quite interesting to chat with the chiku ... that was until he called me "uncle". I instantly ignored and banned him! He needs to learn that you must NEVER call a gay man "uncle" even if he is in his 30s or much older than you. Especially when that 30 something year old gay man still looks as young as an 18 year old boy. :p

FB Distractions
Everyday I just can't seem to stop clicking on FB profiles of hot guys and checking out their profiles and photos .... those almost naked hot bods. Just feel like licking and eating them! :p Are there really THAT many guys with such fit and hot bods? Makes me feel so inadequate and unfit now ...

Singledom
When I visited my parents, I rarely hang around outside of the house long enough to meet the neighbours. And when I do, I rarely keep eye contact with them, much less greet them. Most of them moved in after I left the house more than 15 years ago, and I never really knew them that well.
But on one fine evening, while I was about to get into my car, the missus next door was on her way into her house and our eyes met. After all these years, I decided to be polite, and flashed her a smile.
She seized the opportunity of a lifetime, and managed to ask me what seemed to be the world's most important question to her. A question she's been dying to ask me all these years: "Wah! Are you still not married? Time to get married lo."
Luckily for her, I was already partially inside the car and drove off without a second glance back at her. Patient... I told myself.
Last year, a friend's mother sent me an sms wishing me Kong Hei Fatt Choy: "Tot want to visit u and ask u if you got any special girl yet? Am I busybody? Tot want to introduce a fren to u. Is it ok?"
I texted her a strongly worded reply (I forgot the exact words - but it was blunt). Nonetheless she still couldn't help it but wanted to have her last word "Aunty wont disturb you again. Wish you all the best and hope when u find the right girl u remember 2 invite me ok?"
Everywhere I visited during the course of my work trips, people often ask ask me this "are you married?" question. Is marital status a critical measure of one's success and happiness?
Now, where is my knight in shining armour to save this poor unmarried soul?

Breakthrough
One look at me and people immediately conclude: "Ah... bottom lah~", leaving no room for any possibility that I could be the other one. Although I was an eligible receiver, no successful entry has ever been made.
So we were left with a poor selection, but I did notice a certain extremely edible Type A with his well defined pecs, broad shoulders, tanned skin, and flat abs (was it a six-pack?) clad in only his boxers in the gym room. He was working out, no point in me hanging around the gym looking skinny and small.
So I proceeded upstairs, made a few rounds disappointed with the buffet. But eventually, a willing mouth and came to taste what I have to serve. Oh well, not a Type A, but I was loaded. One can't be choosy when the economy is bad, so I decided to let him do all the work. It was very one-sided, but since he was willing, so what?! There was no need for me to reciprocate. He did a good job keeping me in fantasy land. After what seemed like a very long selfish session, he made a request. I hesitated a moment but determined to prove my critics wrong, I accepted his proposal. And right there and then, I had a breakthrough, and once and for all, I am now officially a top loader. :D
After taking a break, I spotted the extremely edible Type A again, walking around, making only very brief stops. It has been 3 hours and I have not yet eaten. I was hungry for the delicious meat. On normal days, I am extremely passive and submissive. I would never make the first move, but that night was different. I deliberated on how to make my move and close in on that piece of meat before someone else got it. There was nothing to lose. There is no need to be shy. I am too old now to worry about all this. I cannot afford to hesitate anymore for something I want badly, especially in this dog(man)-eat-dog(man)'s world! I moved in next to the meat, and gave an introductory gentle brush. No repulsion. That's good news! And soon I was having a feast, and man, what a feast indeed! A breakthrough indeed as I am now officially Active and Dominant. I was shocked when I later found out that the meat has already completed the fourth cycle of the Chinese zodiac, officially the oldest meat I have ever had. The meat was very well-preserved indeed ... all muscly, lean and smooth. Another breakthrough!
Six hours later from the moment we stepped in, the only thing that still did not break through was my other end. :p

Making A Statement
It's been a week since I was back from a short SINgapore trip. It was rather short, and we spent less than 27 hours on SINgapore soil. Our first stop was Chinatown Point for some serious shopping! After 2 hours of trying out stuff, we bought 5 t-shirts, 3 tanktops, 1 shorts and 1 swimwear for less than S$320. That's a good deal! Then we took the MRT and checked out 313@Somerset. It was Sales period, and you could get quite a few Zara stuff for less than S$30. Imagine paying only RM30 for Zara in MY! Singapore is indeed cheaper than MY.
Then we rushed to the Heeren across the road and bought more shirts, shorts and flipflops. I said "rushed" cos we were running late for the evening program and highlight of the trip: OneSeven. Haha! But we made a quick stop at HMV to buy "Sticky and Sweet Tour DVD". It was sold for only S$24. Oh why oh why can't we get original uncensored DVDs for RM24 in MY???
Here are a couple of pics of the t-shirts I bought. Don't know what went through my head when I was trying them out, but I thought I wanted to make a statement. Now I wonder if I dare to wear them! LOL~

A Nobody
It has been almost 2 months since my last post about making that extra effort to go after the man of my dreams, but I was really super-duper busy since then. But I was glad that my post somewhat served as an inspiration for a particular farmer (keke!). The farmer had claimed that he was somewhat dry for a looooong time, but got superactive and dominant quite recently. The results of his efforts paid off as reportedly he got laid big time. :p
But initial results were disappointing. My updated profile and best photos went unnoticed, no new hearts or messages, no new friend requests, and my requests for FB friends went unapproved. People who approves and adds friends indifferently even refused to approve my request! If people are not even clicking on my profile as a first step, there will not be any further steps or hopes.
As for me, in between my hectic and demanding work schedule, I managed to upload a few nicer photos of myself (photos courtesy of my wonderful photographer sister Tricia), and updated my profiles in the hope that there would be an increase in hits, hearts, messages, friend requests, whatever you call it etc. On my part, I had also made some effort on my part to be proactive in sending hearts, a couple of messages and adding friends etc.
And it really has nothing to do with personality or mannerism or habits or looks.
I pondered on my dear friend Mrs. Philippe's comment on my last post:
"sometimes fate plays a big part too. some can be making the greatest efforts & yet yielding little results, some the other way round."
I can't help but wonder if in my past life (if there was one), I had been a swinger or I was a certain attractive popular guy who was full of himself and hurt people and took advantage of people. So now in this life, I am made to suffer as a nobody. Karma.

Open Your Heart
Certain people could not stand being single and alone. They need to always be in a relationship. So the moment they got over the previous relationship, they start to search for the next one by a certain target date or time frame. It's basically "hunting time".
For me, I've never invested much time in looking for the right guy. In fact, I hardly make any effort! Always passive... Which is no surprise why I've remained single all this time. I mean, I'm not gorgeous, and I don't have that charming persona to attract people to me. Hence, by default, I never get noticed. I need to work extra hard and take on a more active role if I really want to find that guy of my dreams. It means being thick skin and have no fear of rejection.
So I really want to set a target here to make that extra effort. And I have that right song to dedicate to those guys out there to look my way.
Watch Out!
I see you on the street and you walk on by
You make me wanna hang my head down and cry
If you gave me half a chance you'd see
My desire burning inside of me
But you choose to look the other way
I've had to work much harder than this
For something I want don't try to resist me
[Chorus:]
Open your heart to me, baby
I hold the lock and you hold the key
Open your heart to me, darlin'
I'll give you love if you, you turn the key
I think that you're afraid to look in my eyes
You look a little sad boy, I wonder why
I follow you around but you can't see
You're too wrapped up in yourself to notice
So you choose to look the other way
Well, I've got something to say
Don't try to run I can keep up with you
Nothing can stop me from trying, you've got to
[chorus]
Open your heart with the key
One is such a lonely number
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Open your heart, I'll make you love me
It's not that hard, if you just turn the key
Don't try to run I can keep up with you
Nothing can stop me from trying, you've got to
[chorus]
Open your heart with the key
Open your heart, I'll make you love me
It's not that hard, if you just turn the key
[repeat and fade]

Almost Saved
For so many years, I have had countless lectures about how I needed to be saved (the Christian way, of course), by my evangelistic friends, friends of friends, classmates, teachers, relatives, workmates, and even strangers on the street (while I was waiting for a bus!). That constant preaching....
There was a time in 1999. I was a young graduate then, at my desk doing my own work. A lady, my boss's friend, was just standing a few feet away from me. She was waiting for my boss who was engaged on the phone.
From the corner of my eyes, I noticed her staring at me. Then she finally opened her mouth to find out what I normally do on weekends and on weeknights.
"Nothing much," I replied. "Why?"
I looked up. The look on her face told me I was such a pitiful soul. I needed to be saved.
"Then you should come to church. Join us, this Sunday?" She cleared her throat.
Her words and her facial expression were akin to the straw that broke the camel's back.
And just like that, instead of being saved the Christian way, I chose to keep my distance.
Enough for now.

Writing on the Wall
"A good bf/gf should empathize with their other half's concerns and not just brush things off because they cannot see gravity of the situation" - WN
This also applies to good/close friends. That's what friends are for.
Very recently, another friend, T, was upset because of the actions of another friend, G. When it was made known, G was concerned and quickly asked to talk and to apologize to T. Although T needed time to cool off and was somewhat evasive in the first couple of days, I was glad that they talked and sorted things out. In a week, all was settled and back to normal.
It didn't really matter who was right or who was wrong because everyone has their own perceptions, but the willingness to talk and reconcile. That alone must mean something.
But what if your "close" friend does not at least empathize with your concerns; and does not want or appear to even talk about it; and if your "close" friend doesn't bother to ask you how you're feeling or what the problem was regardless of who was right or wrong?
What if it took your "close" friend 3 months instead of 1 week to ask you "So I heard you want to talk?" There is an expiration date for everything including the timeframe relationship issues should be resolved.
The writing's on the wall.
Time to move on.

Lunch
Do you know that I could eat even before any food is put on my plate?
For lunch today, as I queued at the local Indian restaurant near my office to pile rice and food on my plate, something caught my eye. I looked up and saw a smartly groomed guy just in front of me. He was a bit on the slim side, but his office attire somewhat just fits him very well. I could see his strong arms exposed from his folded sleeves, and I looked up to see his face... he had a nice side profile.
As I stood there waiting for some space to get the food at the counter, I stripped his clothes off layer by layer and devoured him up with my eyes.
I stared at his face from behind, and suddenly he turned and caught me staring at him and said "Yes? Sorry go ahead," as he made space for me.
I let my gaze lingered on his eyes a little longer than I should before I said my thank yous and looked away at the food counter. Suddenly, I was already half full in the stomach. Yum!

Pleasure Principle
The authorities have been making their rounds to raid and seize shops selling specialty condoms, vibrators and other forms of "sex toys".
Frankly, I don't understand what the big deal is to sensationalize these raids. I think the authorities should channel their efforts and time in rounding up illegal immigrants, reducing piracy and keeping the city, instead of depriving normal folks of some sexual enhancing experience.
What's so lurid about purchasing objects for sexual enhancement for private pleasures?
What's so wrong with wearing a sexy thong, with the help of a little vibrator between consenting adults?
Is sex just all about in and out movement, spew your load in the hope of hitting the jackpot of procreation?
Nobody gets hurt, nothing gets stolen, so why do they always have to dictate what's right and wrong, and what's moral or not, what's sinful or not, for what things that are done behind closed doors?

Behind Time
I don't have many friends (colleagues and ex-colleagues excluded), but I find it interesting that more than an estimated 90% of them are younger than I am. And even so, the few who are older than I, are gym mates from step classes I attend.
I am rarely drawn to older people. I just don't know what to say to them. I find that older people tend to want to talk about serious stuff such as career, money, status, investment... sorry, maybe it's just my perception...
But as I grow older, the age group of my friends are still in the twenties! It's puzzling (and sometimes it worries me) that I'm just too at ease mixing and talking with people who are more than 10 years younger than I am. It's almost like I never grew up! The things I say, the way I behave ... so kiddie, immature!
Well, I've been a late bloomer. I was still a child at twenty, and I still lacked the self-awareness of a young adult in my late twenties. And right now, although already in my mid-thirties, I feel that in many aspects, I haven't quite reached the maturity of a 25 year old.
When I look at my friends and the younger generation (from facebook lah! where else?), I feel that I am so behind time, and sometimes, it appears that these people in their early 20s have even overtook me! So many of them knew exactly what they wanted and have pursued their dreams ... some even achieving them. Guys as young as 15 already had sex, and even have had relationships! At 15, I still wasn't convinced that the penis has other functions apart from urinating!
I wished I had matured at a much younger age ... wished I had a headstart like them in all aspects of life experiences.
If I had reached a higher level of self awareness by my early 20s, I would have gotten a headstart in knowing and chasing my dreams, career, talent ... or at least have developed the necessary skills to survive this man-eat-man world.
If I have had sex by 15, I would have 20 years of experience of sexual pleasure by now! :p
But now, even if I am mentally and emotionally prepared, my body is already slowing down. At this age, I don't have the energy of a 20 year old. Like Eva Peron lamented in the musical Evita: "What is the good of the strongest heart ... in a body that's falling apart?"
A case of mental and physical mismatch!

The Dominant Exhibitionist Bottom
"NO!! Here! I want (to) show," a Japanese Pig Bottom commanded the muscular Vietnamese Top.
The Top had been fucking the Jap Bottom near the door when he decided to go to a darker, more discreet corner of the steam room, hoping to get away from the swelling crowd of voyeurs.
However, upon hearing the discontentment of the Jap Bottom, and much to the approval and giggles of the voyeuristic audience, the Viet Top sheepishly and obediently repositioned himself behind Jap Bottom's arse, and resumed pounding him.
It must have been Jap Bottom's fourth round that evening, and he showed no signs of wear and tear (haha!). And he was clearly having so much fun putting on fuck shows at the brightest sections of the mostly dark sauna.
Earlier, he was in another (bright) room, where he was sitting and riding another Viet cock, one hand jerking himself, the other one masturbating another Viet guy's cock, and his mouth sucking and slurping loudly on another's.
In between his mouthful, he announced: "I take almost 2 hours to find here... round and round." He was obviously very glad he made it here, clearly worth every effort to have finally found it. He was on his mission to get fucked by every Viet guy he could find, and to get the attention he had always wanted.

Eating Out II
I was talking to this uncle at Adam Spa this evening. He's 45 years old (OMG... I'm going to be an uncle soon too! Or am I already considered as one?!) and told me he's married with two children, aged 10 and 12. I was curious as to why he visits the men-only spa, and he explained he only discovered he likes boys and men five years ago. Apparently also, if he goes for a massage, he prefers to be touched and massaged by boys than girls.
This is not the first time I've met or known or heard of married men with family who eats out on a regular basis... not women but men!
Those poor wives and children ... how could they do this them? How could they not know they liked boys/men in their younger days? Have they finally surrendered to their true feelings that they have denied or suppressed all the years?
Now, it makes me wonder if straight men could turn gay, then is it possible that one day, I would wake up and find myself attracted to women, breasts and vagina?? Ewww....

Live To Tell
Ally McBeal has always been somewhat introspective and seemed very connected to her emotions. At one time, tired of Ally's complaints, issues and sensitivities, Georgia confronted her.
Georgia: What makes your problems bigger than others'?
Ally (pausing a moment): Hmm... because they're mine.
Sometimes, people just don't really get it when you kicked up a fuss - to them, your issues will always seem as trivial or insignificant. And sometimes, instead of trying to understand the situation, they think they can "solve" your problems or issues as-a-matter-of-factly. Worst, they ditch you, or blame you, and leave you feeling more hurt than before. If you seriously can't identify with the problem, then the least you could do is just shut up and just hear it out, as a "friend".
And don't ever stick that "too sensitive" label, cause if I'm one, then you're the complete opposite - "over insensitive, and cold-hearted". And why is it that a little bit more of sensitivity seemed like a bad thing? Why is sensitivity considered worse than insensitivity?
I have a tale to tell
Sometimes it gets so hard to hide it well
I was not ready for the fall
Too blind to see the writing on the wall
Chorus:
A man can tell a thousand lies
I've learned my lesson well
Hope I live to tell
The secret I have learned, 'till then
It will burn inside of me
I know where beauty lives
I've seen it once, I know the warm she gives
The light that you could never see
It shines inside, you can't take that from me
The truth is never far behind
You kept it hidden well
If I live to tell
The secret I knew then
Will I ever have the chance again?
If I ran away
I'd never have the strength
To go very far
How could they hear the beating of my heart?
Will it grow cold, the secret that I hide?
Will I grow old?
How would they hear?
When would they learn?
How would they know?

Fun-facts about "Live To Tell":
- Madonna's 3rd No. 1 Single in US
- Only one straight voice recording for the song (ie. demo version) was used as the final cut. Reportedly, the writer/producer said that "her voice in the demo version was so innocent and so shy. It's as naive, as raw, as can be and that's part of what gave it all its charm."
- Song used in the film "At Close Range" starring Madonna's then-husband, Sean Penn.

Eating Out
I was msn-ing a distant old friend the other day, and he recounted how he had hot sex in a public facility with three other guys. It was always nice to be able to chat about people's sexual experience... it's almost like reading porn material, except that you get to ask all the finer details as you wish.
As I got sexcited listening to his public anal conquests, it occurred to me that they probably didn't have any condom on, and so I queried. As expected, none of them had any rubber, but they did the anal thing anyway. His excuse was "it was only a few quick jabs anyway - we didn't have time to do too much la!". But I recalled him mentioning to me he was sore down there as one of the guys poked him quite rough.
And he is still attached to his BF. Obviously he was eating out behind his back... completely unprotected! Suddenly, it wasn't sexciting anymore to listen to his stories. It sends the shivers down my spine, and I didn't want to know any further if he and his BF had theirs done protected or bareback.

It's Not About You, But Me
I confided in Fable Frog a few months back that I had created another anonymous blog... one that I could be brutally honest about what I think and feel about myself and the people I know (and that includes some of you too ... :p ). It's a way of dealing with my own issues, as well as issues that I have with other people and life in general. Well, as someone asked, are all gay bloggers such emotional people?? So much drama and emotions!
But I wasn't particularly good at expressing myself in writing. I have a few emotional and introspective posts in the past... and these posts tend to conceal rather than reveal the real emotions behind it, and readers are often left wondering what I mean to say. Even once, I took the short cut by posting the shortest post ever. And now I have even forgotten myself what the issue or post was all about!
It scares me to open up too much to people I see every other day. Afraid that people will judge me, and have negative perceptions of who I am from what I write.
But the truth is, I did not have any other blog. I was already lazy enough to update this one, I wouldn't have time to manage another one!
I will just post them here instead. I can't be just blogging about me getting caught by police, can I?
And with that, I give myself permission to open up a bit more, to be honest, and to bitch about everything.

Not Again!
Baru masuk the sixth day of CNY, and for the second time in less than 60 days of 2010, I got cruised again by the police!
Very suey la. A stupid client called me on my mobile phone while I was driving mom and dad to Ikea, I just answered the call momentarily to tell him I'm driving (and fuck off), and I was spotted by the police and the roadblock was just 50 m away! Suey boh suey lah!
The first policeman was stern, and said that regardless of how long I was on the phone, it is an offence to even hold the phone whilst driving. My face so masam and I was not in any mood to manja like my first time. I was angry at the client calling me on my day off, and angry at such bad luck this year. Can't manja also la... dad is just beside me! A second policeman came along to take over my case, and I was basically snapping at him when I explained I answered the phone just to tell the idiot to call later.
I knew it was still CNY, so he let me off.
BUT, hmmmm... this is really worrying... kena 'tangkap' so frequently... so bad luck meh? I better not step into any saunas this year (well at least not local ones). Sure kena raid one!

Huynh
I wake up in your arms, I could feel the warmth of your body under the sheets.
Cool gloomy morning with a little drizzle. The sky wept. So did our hearts but we have to part.
I look into your eyes and wondered why did our paths crossed. Wasn't it supposed to be just plain touch and go fun? Why does it have to come to this ... again? Zero passion in my own backyard for 35 years, but it is just so easy to hit the jackpot elsewhere ... So here we are, in this charming city of Hanoi that you found me, and I you.
It is night again now, and my heart is still weeping, my dear Huynh.

Ergonomic Hazard
I've been getting recurrent stiff neck and backache since June last year. But this latest one lasted for more a month! That perpetual ache on my upper back, the throbbing sore shoulder muscles and stiff neck is really taking its toll on me. I only got a temporary respite for a couple of days while holidaying in HK.
Looking back, the shoulder, back and neck problems seem to coincide with the time I commenced using a notebook in the office. I've just changed back to an ancient Windows ME (yah... you wouldn't believe we still have units that run on ME and 98!) desktop computer yesterday.... I hope it is because of the computer not because of sitting down too long or something else!
Due to these problems, I haven't lifted weights for a very long time now. And massage has not helped much.
Urgh!

Cruisy Police
Baru 3rd day of New Year and already so drama!
So I was cruising along Jln Tun Razak yesterday evening, missed a turning and decided to do an illegal cut across to a service road, and then I got cruised back by the traffic police. Ish!
Since the police cruised me, I have to stop lo. I could almost see RM300 flying away to pay the saman. I never, ok la .. ahem.... rarely, flout the traffic law one kay. But I got caught this time.
A smartly dressed policeman walked up to my car and politely told me of my offence. Hmmm... there's just something about men in uniform....
Sinner: Oh ye ke.... baru tukar ke? Dulu boleh belok masuk kan? (pretend)
Policeman: Papan tanda ada beritahu tak boleh masuk... sejak November 2007. Sudah 2 tahun! Bagi IC and lesen. (Ok, yes, it's been 2 years and I lied that I didn't know about it. Another sin!)
Sinner: Oh, maaf Encik. Jadi macam mana ah? (Feeling guilty of lying and gave my IC and driver's license)
Policeman: Kena saman la. Macam mana? You boleh bayar?
Sinner: Har? Mesti mau saman ke? (My hard earned money! Gosh!)
Policeman: Apa pekerjaan you?
Sinner: Kerja di PJ la... kerja ofis (what has my occupation got to do with this offence? but ooo... he looks cute)
Policeman: Jadi macam mana? Gaji cukup boleh bayar saman ke?
Policeman asked me to wait and walked away to talk on his phone for a moment.
Policeman: I nak tulis ni. You sudah kahwin?
Sinner: Belum. Kenapa?
Policeman: Ni... IC tahun 74, belum kahwin lagi? (friendly smile)
Sinner: Haha... belum la, tak laku ma! (he's so cute teasing me, my voice becoming manja liao)
Policeman: Ye ke, tak laku meh? Macam mana boleh tak laku? Boleh bayar (smiling)
saman ke?
Sinner: Berapa saman? (Ooo... he's got a nice bulge too... just half a meter away... my gaze lingered there a little longer than it should)
Policeman: Dua ratus.
Sinner: Kalau nak bayar, memang boleh. (Tapi kalau nak hisap pun boleh)
Sinner: Tapi, kalau boleh, encik jangan lah saman. (smiling, but still nervous, my voice getting even more manja now)
Sinner: I memang tak biasa kena saman. Sejak I mula pandu, tak pernah langgar undang-undang. Satu kali saman pun belum. (oh god he's hot!)
Policeman: haha! Jadi yang ini lah you punya kali pertama!
Sinner: Ye.... tapi kalau boleh... satu kali pun tak nak!
Policeman: Kereta ni belum pernah kena saman?
Sinner: Belum (Oh, did he just checked out my traffic offence status when he put me on hold a moment ago?)
Policeman: Ok la. Bagi you IC balik. You nampaknye orang baik-baik. Tapi jangan buat salah itu lagi, ok? (smiling)
Sinner: Oh terima kasih! (smiling ... slurrrp!)

Signs
Haiyu, I tell you ... spooky ... in less than 24 hours on New Year's Day, on two separate occasions, Fable and I witnessed the side mirrors of a car and a motorbike kena hit and dropped off. Is it a sign to say "be careful ... be on guard for backstabbers or unfortunate events"? Choi! It's not my side mirror la, but still!
And then hor, I went to KLCC to park car 3 times in the past 5 days, and every single time, I got the exact same parking spot. Almost as if it's reserved for me ... vacant ... just waiting for me to come and park! Not that I'm complaining or anything cos it's very near the escalator, but still!
Nah, here's my favourite Justin Timberlake song (see I'm not really stuck in the 80s tau!), also a track in BJ35. Me likey.

Flashback and Forward
Happy New Year 2010!
Well, apart from a very recent disappointing event and what seemed like a perpetual neckache, shoulder ache and backache throughout the 2nd half of the year, 2009 wasn't too bad at all. I had two very enjoyable, relaxing and camwhoring trips to Hanoi and Jogja/Boro/Pramb with my lovely sistas. And I had my first but brief love affair while in Singapore, and of course a few naughty encounters. Haha!
I have met so many new people this year as well, probably more than 25 - a record for me - mostly bloggers and readers. I usually rather shy and passive one, but it's all because of friends introducing me to their friends lah. Of course, there were Jaslene's blogger friends early in Jan for that January Soldier's birthday party, and then another group of bloggers via Fable on the very last night of the year itself! Sometime in March, I met up two sinful and sexy bloggers from Singapore! And a Filipino reader sometime in September. I realized I like meeting new people. Hope it wouldn't be just a one-time meet-up.... but become long-time friends.
After many, many years of staying away from the city and all the crowded but happening places for Xmas and NY countdown, it was time to make my way back to see and be seen again, and to be part of the celebration. And what better way to spend the night with close friends, and new friends as well. :)
It did seem like it's snowing at Pavilion on Christmas Eve.
Vicious snowspray, or rather foamspray at Bukit Bintang on Christmas Eve. Tricia and Eva got some of the worst hairsprays among the 4 of us. Can wash hair liao with all the foam! Wakaka!
